CALL of DUTY GHOSTS

Activision’s Call of Duty: Ghostsknown to some as the OTHER modern military shooteris out, and we got quite a bit of time with it. What’s special this time around is a supposed new game engine that works well on both the current gen as well as next-gen systems. We didn’t get to try it out on either of them. Instead, we took what should be the most superior version of the game  out for a spinthe PC version.

Well, it sure as hell isn’t in the textures. I played the game with every setting (save for Anti-Aliasing) cranked up to the max on 1080p, and the game doesn’t look that much better than Black Ops 2 did. Sure, there are some minor extras here and there, like some tessellation effects and enhanced particles. Overall, however, the high system requirements feel quite unreasonable. Even worse was the fact that there were moments where my computer was brought down to its knees. Players take on the role of Logan who, with his brother Hesh, joins the remnant of the US army which is commanded by his father. As for the titular Ghosts, they’re supposed to be an elite taskforce, reminiscent of the SAS from the first Modern Warfare or Task Force 141 from Modern Warfare 2. Logan and Hesh eventually become a part of the Ghosts unit as they undertake a bunch of missions all over the Americas. The missions themselves aren’t that good either, owing to the series’ ever-growing reliance on larger-than-life setpieces that would make Michael Bay want to retire from the movie industry

Morel The Fat Lady Floorstanding Speakers Review

Price in India 1,600,000

When a showroom is in our suburban neighbourhood  told us that we'd better come to their demo room pronto, we didn't know what to expect. So when they hit us with the voluptuous ladies recently delivered to them by Morel, we were stomped. Immediately we knew why Morel had named this pair of exotic and very expensive loudspeakers ‘The Fat Lady’, because when it sings, it might just mark the end of your lifelong search for the perfect tower Speaker.

OUT OF THE BOX
There's nothing ‘fat’ about the Fat Lady, in fact if it had legs, I wouldn't mind seeing these women walk the ramp for Versace. With not a single straight line anywhere on its body, this pair definitely looks like a musical instrument and that's just what Morel had in mind while designing it. Its twinkling black cabinet isn't purely black but rather is laced with off-white webby dashes, much like the drivers it houses. Simultaneously, the cabinet looks mighty heavy but actually isn't. Why this is so, will be best explained in the next section but until then you must take a moment to absorb the pure aesthetic brilliance with which this pair has been designed. If it wasn't for the Boomerang guys watching us carefully I would've given this pair a big Hug.

TECHNOLOGY
Let's talk about the elephant in the living room first, the cabinet. It's made from a lacquered carbon fibre mixed with fiberglass and epoxy resin, which explains both the rigidity and the fact that they aren't as heavy as they look. In addition, Morel opted to not use any sort of damping material so as to let the cabinet vibrate with the drivers without any obstruction. And when the drivers are done vibrating, the cabinet stops immediately to not leave any hanging frequencies in the air. This could only be done by a company like Morel, which manufactures its own drivers, and further fine-tunes the hell out of them to make them perfectly integrated  with this cabinet.
It uses 2   nine" carbon-fibre/Rohacell composite cones for the lower-end, a 6" carbon fibre/Rohacell composite cone for the mids and a 1.1" hand-coated soft dome tweeter for the highs. What is fascinating to see is that both the cabinet and the drivers are made from the same carbon fibre, making them not only look similar but come packing the same resonant properties. That's what you call integrated architecture, where both the aesthetics and the performance go hand-in-hand and each serve a purpose and aren't just there for the hell of it

Find The Reader Button In iOS 7

The Reader button is no longer on the right side of the safari address bar as before, but rather resides on the left of the very same bar. There's an ambiguous three -horizontal-lines-stacked-vertically icon.

Make Text Easy To Read

if you found it's hard to read the text under the App icons, you will need this tips.

Just make the text bold by going to Settings, then General, then  Accessibility and then turn on Bold Text.

Increasing the contrast can also help the text to stand out a bit more. Again, go to Settings, then Accessibility and then Increase Contrast by turning on the switch.

iPhone 5 iOS 7 Beta 2 vs iPhone 4S iOS 7 Beta 2 Review

Round Table: Will India give the iPhone 5c a chance or will it be 5s all the way?

Apple had recently announced that it will be launching its new iPhones, the iPhone 5s and the 5c, in India on November 1. While the base model of the 5c will set you back Rs 42,000, the 5s will cost Rs 54,000. The new products have definitely generated quite a lot of buzz, but opinions are spilt on which iPhone the Indian user will be picking up. While the 5c is being positioned as the “budget” iPhone, the price tag that it will be sporting in India might not be make it a suitable choice for the budget-conscious among us. The 5s, on the other hand, comes with some brand new features that definitely increases the user appeal.

Internationally, it has been seen that the sales for the higher-end 5s have been considerably higher than the 5c. It was even reported that the company was forced to push the shipping dates for the higher-end handset to the next month just hours after the official roll out began. The 5c, on the other hand, comes with much of the hardware already seen in the now-discontinued iPhone 5. With the India launch just weeks away, we decided to take a look at which model we think will be popular and which one will be pushed to the sidelines:
iPhone 5S and 5C
Which one will rise to the top ? The iPhone 5s or the 5c

Shunal Doke:
Since the official unveiling of the iPhone 5c, the general consensus has been that Apple has shot itself in the foot with its pricing. The company decided to use the iPhone 5's hardware in the 5c, and then it shut down production of the 5 entirely. Now we have the pricing for India, and the 5c doesn't seem all that attractive. The 16GB model of the iPhone 5 was in stores for Rs 45,500, while the iPhone 5c is priced at Rs 42,000. Most people will probably opt for the iPhone 5s, which is priced at what some would consider an exorbitant amount—Rs 54,000—which makes it the most expensive smartphone in the market right now.

The richest among us will undoubtedly want to go for the iPhone 5s, assuming they can afford it. The iPhone 5c, while a good smartphone, still feels like it is too expensive for what is essentially last year’s technology. The 5s, however, has all of the new goodies that will make many consider the upgrade over the 5c, namely the Touch ID fingerprint scanner and the 64-bit chip under the hood. Were the 5c to occupy the 4s’s original price tag of around Rs 38,000, I could have seen the smartphone become quite successful. However, with the current pricing, if one is willing to go as high as Rs 42,000, they will certainly opt for the top-of-the-line 5s. In fact, assuming the iPhone 5 gets a price drop to clear out old stock, more people will probably by the iPhone 5 than the 5c.

Anujeet Majumdar:
It all boils down to the features that the new devices will come with for me, and that means the 5s. Keeping the comparatively low pricing of the 5c in mind, it could be assumed that the “budget” iPhone will definitely score big in the Indian market. That being said, the Rs 42,000 is still a hefty price to pay, and definitely a disappointment for users who were looking for a cheaper iDevice.

While there is definitely a difference in the prices, it should be remembered that we are still being asked to pay more than Rs 40,000 for either one of the new handsets. Thus, I would definitely think about shelling out more to get all the latest specifications that Apple has provided. The different target groups in the country might look at the new products differently, though. The bright avatars of the 5c should definitely appeal to the younger lot, while the corporate look that the 5s brings to the table will definitely be appreciated by the business-minded among the populace.

The 5c, though, comes with slightly dated technology, while the 5s comes with not just one but a multitude of new features to look forward to. While the Rs 54,000 price tag seems exorbitant in my books, if I have the funds to splurge, I will definitely go for the 5s.

Exclusive: iPhone 5S Silver Graphite prototype first caught on video

Today, we have some amazing news as both Tanner & I are very excited to be the very first to show off the new iPhone 5S color option dubbed ’Graphite’. The casing looks very similar to the white iPhone 5 model, however, it does have some differences. The front panel (which is missing from the video demonstration) will most likely be black and resemble the current black iPhone 5′s look. The sides appear to be a darker silver than seen on the current generation white iPhone 5 along with the back. The two top and bottom non metal back pieces will be black similar to the current black iPhone 5. Similar to the God/Champagne model, the led flash hole is larger and will work with the slightly modified insides seen in the 5S. Make sure not to miss our hands on below.

It is rumored that Apple will release the iPhone 5S in four colors, black, white, silver/graphite, and gold/champagne. There is no telling whether the second two will cost more or require upgrades. That being said, these prototypes are from manufacturing sites in China and are up to change by the final release. Make sure to check back to JailbreakNation for more prototype exclusives shortly.
